IsThisAnything Valued Member United States 440 Posts	Posted 06/17/2021 1:53 pm You can try taking pictures of the whole coin and cropping them down without zooming in so much on your camera phone. Sometimes we can see enough on those pictures. Phones don't take good close ups without help from a magnifier. Like this Report this Post to the Staff

I zoom in to about 6X and the images are perfect for what we need to see except for extreme closeups. Photographing coins isn't easy, but with time you'll get the hang of it. If you do use a microscope, please no screen shots, they're usually too pixelated. Report this Post to the Staff
