The 1941 nickel didn't carry a mint mark, meaning it was minted in Philly. Check this:

A well-worn '41. Worth? Five cents, maybe 6-7 cents to a rabid nickel collector.

Back in 1941 that coin could buy a soda, Now a days, that same coin along with 14 of his friends can buy a soda.. It was worth 5 cents back then, and it is still worth 5 cents today.

I'm thinking a rabid nickel collector might save up and buy a nicer example for 25 or 30 cents.

A literally rabid nickel collector would probably have bigger problems.
