wheatnut New Member United States 43 Posts	Posted 01/06/2009 1:45 pm Hello everyone, its been cold around her about -20 and yesterday I went to the bank to get some pennies so I could have something to do last night. well I had $34 on me so I asked the teller for some penny rolls and she said are you the guy who comes in her every week to get coins, and I said yes and she said well do have some pennies for you and she hauled out 8 rolls of wheat penniesthe oldest one was a 1911, there was also a 1914,1918.1919 and 1919 d. there was also 3 canadians 1945, 1952 and 1972. One penny was a blank that was not struck. and there was five LMC in then. How often do you find hoards of pennies at the bank. Linden Report this Post to the Staff
