Hi everyone. Still going through all my coins and I ran across a 2019p River of no Return quarter. There is clearly a spot that is not right. My question is it an error or is it just from being handled and used? Please help. Also if you have any tips on how I can tell myself that would be fantastic. Thanks fellow coin lovers. As noted , just damage.
It can only be an error if it happens during the striking of the coin so by learning the minting process and how dies are struck,
you will learn that things like scratches, gouges, misshapen letters, discolouration etc. are most times damage, not errors.
Also you reading previous posts, you will learn that over 90% of postings claiming errors are in fact just damage.
