Is the U S Mint the same thing as the Morgan Mint? I have learned that coins only come from San Francisco, Denver, Philadelphia New Orleans and West Point.I guess my questing is, if I buy something from the Morgan Mint catalog, is it the same as buying from the US Mint directly?(or a middle man)

That would be a marketer of coins. The only active Mints are Denver and Philadelphia for commerce issues. San Francisco only mints proofs to date and West Point occasionally. New Orleans was the last Mint to close it's doors in 1909. Never heard of the Morgan Mint. Be cautious as there prices could be marked up very high.
