Kinda figured the spooned part made sense to me find a "damage" coin start spooning to make a ring no one would care right except maybe it wasn't "damaged" before it was spooned
i agree with yokozuna, some of the markings & damage certainly bears resemblance to a coin that had been stuck in a washer and/or dryer. whether or not it could've worn the coin nearly flat on one side, I couldn't say.
