Not an error, just damage.
There is no way that happened
during the striking of the coin.

Damage. Even if it has a small error it would be worth face due to the amount of damage.

@kewl, first welcome to CCF. Second, I see some weird linear depressions on the eagles wings, but this is damage as noted above.
