This seller has been discussed here numerous times in the past and most come to the conclusion that their coins do not actually come from original bags or rolls and their images are doctored. Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4395 Posts	Posted 07/01/2021 9:04 pm The clone stamp tool is a feature on most photo editing software that allows you to sample parts of an image to paste elsewhere (clone and stamp). It's usually used to remove blemishes or parts of an image in a way that looks natural. Clearly if this photo was altered by the clone stamp tool like it appears, the effect through DOL was not intentional. Too noticeable and seeming randomly done to be intentionally obscuring something. And I personally could not find any other areas in the image definitively altered in this way. But this shows that they do import the images into a photo editing software. Did they load the photo into this software to edit this coin's appearance? Did they adjust its color and contrast as well? RedRaider Pillar of the Community United States 1018 Posts	Posted 07/01/2021 10:19 pm This guy recently sold some Indian cents "from an original roll" and had a picture of some nice looking red IHCs coming out of an old paper roll. What a lie, he bought them all from Rick Snow the same week. All of them were PCGS questionable color when he bought them and he claimed he cracked the roll himself. No respect for this guy here. Ty2020b Pillar of the Community United States 4680 Posts	Posted 07/02/2021 01:26 am with all of the above. Pretty sure this is the 2nd or 3rd time this month this seller has come up. It's a shame sellers like this exist. Pretty sure it was on here that someone had an issue with this seller (canyon city coins) , clearly they had edited some blemishes from the coin and when confronted, the seller denied denied denied. They know exactly what they are doing, and considering the outrageous prices they're coins are bringing, they're probably not going to be stopping anytime soon. Report this Post to the Staff
