MaxPower Valued Member United States 52 Posts	Posted 07/02/2021 01:53 am First off, I would like to thank everyone who has replied to my previous posts. I'm still new at this and I've learned a lot from the feedback and look forward to expanding my knowledge of this subject. I came across this coin while going through my change from the day and it stood out from the rest. I am sure it's nothing special, but I am curious as to what causes this appearance. On the letters of UNITED STATES it looks almost like they are casting a shadow above them. It's not due to lighting as it appears the same when lit from any angle. Is anyone familiar with this effect and what causes it? Thanks for looking. Report this Post to the Staff
