Hi all. This poor thing looks like it has had chemicals spilled on it but does that look to you like true doubling on the 5? If so...is there anything I can do to help this coin?

Nice case of zinc rot, with a dose of environmentally-triggered crud/staining. May have spent some time in water and/or wet soil.

Bad case of zinc rot, I agree. Spend it quickly.
