Looks like MD but I can't tell for sure. Go to Variety Vista and Coppercoins to compare. Check the designer initials.

Usually if you see the same doubling on obverse and reverse it is Machine Doubling, not both dies doubled. It can happen, but very rarely. If you are looking the left side of the dates devices, MD on that area is hidden by glare off the image on the flattened areas of the devices.

Just Machine Doubling. Not a doubled die. The master hub was aging during this time period. The bust and the devices all appear large, but they all looked like that during that time. So that was the normal then. A few light coin scratches, but still a BU coin. You can still buy BU rolls of these even today.
