I'm trying to finish a Morgan dollar set for between 8-9K since I think that is the lowest price it would cost. I've so far been able to get 70 coins for 5K which includes the 1893s that I got an AG example for $1450. The hard hitters I still need are the 80-85cc, 89cc, 93cc, 94, 95 o & s and 03o. Do you think it's possible to finish the rest of the set in at least good condition for only 3K more? Also what do you think the lowest cost of a complete date/mint Morgan set would be? Thanks.

The 82-84 CC might be locatable in lower circulated grades for around $100 each, so these won't be financial burdens compared to what you have already built. To be honest, the hard part might be finding them in lower circulated grades. They are the most common CC and abound in the gov't holders and literally every coin shop will have them for around $175-250 as BU.

So that's three more you can knock out for around $300-700+ total depending on the grade you insist upon.

1882 CC has some awesome die clash VAMs to look out for, easy to spot on the reverse of BU examples.

Good luck!
