Hey iv been looking at the 1982 normal dollar and was wondering what the thin variety and what it even means lol. Coins and Canada seemed helpfully but have pictures. So how can I tell if this is thin or not? Also even if it's just a normal variety is it a key date to keep?

I'm seeing now that the thin variety was only in the constitution coins. But the non constitution coins have a much lower mintage. So even if it's not a variety is this one worth holding onto?

Fairly low mintage compared to the constitution same year. But ya I don't think the dollar coins had big mintages for any years compared to other low mintage circulation coins. I have the constitution variety as well but without good equipment seeing errors that are small is impossible lol.
