For grade, I'm thinking AU53-ish. It's worth five cents, perhaps twenty+ cents to a collector needing a hole filler.

It's funny how someone can find a 70+ year old coin in circulation, which is an achievement in itself, have it be in decent condition, also not likely, and have it worth almost nothing. They made 62 million of those things. For the new nickels being made, where they make over a billion of them, how many years before they are worth anything numismatically speaking? Maybe 200 years? At some point the nickel metal might be what makes it have value.

your coin would grade AU53 possible AU55. reverses are typically weak

AU55. MS Jeffs remain a bargain. One can assemble a beautiful set at relatively low cost.
