I have seen this on a few of the newer design Quarters that have the reverse side border. I believe this is the reverse side border and rock cliff image showing through on the obverse side. Can anyone elaborate more?

There isn't really much to take better pictures of. Its just a slightly raised/uneven detail in the areas where I have the arrows....they are in the same location as the reverse side border and rock cliff.

I can't see well in the photos, but it may be PIDT or progressive indirect die transfer. Google it.
