I heard NGC maybe able to try and remove milk spots, with there conservation.
Per there site though they say they may be able to minimize them but not get rid of them.
Curious if it is worth trying on my clashed 2016 Silver Eagle? Has anyone here tried it?
She is graded MS-68 by NGC
the spotting is not to bad , I am just glad to have her as she is a spitting image of my clashed 2021
I am just hoping it does not spread.

No clue. To me, this is a defect that would make it worth less than a straight 68, but I am clueless in today's collecting world.

being clashed its worth alot more than a basic 2016 ,I am sure the milk spotting affects value though it may of been graded with the spots.

actually just looked at the NGC site it had the spots when it was certified , probably kept it from a 69

There a number of answers as to what causes milk spotting on otherwise pristine silver coins, and their removal.
Those answers can be found by doing a Google search.

The milk spots are dry and will not (should not) spread.

Proof/high grade coins should not be altered. Anything done to them will ruin the coin. Reducing any premium for the coin. Best to note these before you buy. After you buy them, leave them alone.
