I saw this while searching for general news stories on the bing.com (Microsoft News) search engine. It's just Clickbait to draw people in and show them as many ads as possible, but it makes me mad!

Here's the website.

As the image shows, it's a Bicentennial Quarter with, most likely, wrapper machine damage, but the story is about the unique 1970-S Proof struck over the 1941 Canadian Quarter. It tells the reader how to spot one and makes it seem like there may be lots of these 'errors' out there just waiting for collectors to find. It also says they are worth $35,000 each. Yes, that's a fantastic amount, but RETIRE?

This is the image that caught my eye. How many thousands of hopeful error collectors will see this and think they have a coin that's worth as much as a new car?

John, probably. I hate these so much, too, Yokozuna.

It's no wonder people show up here all the time thinking they've struck gold.
