My dad brought this home from his shop,(he got it in change).

I looked about for error coins on the internet looked at the guides but couldnt find anything like it.

A bit strange .

it looks like a gas bubble

are these layered with copper like U.S. cents are?

Interesting coin. I guess these are quite common but I haven't seen a coin with a bubble that big.

I had a smaller one on a 2 Pence I found last year - they called it a Cud and that was that...
