Hi! Is this dime worth anything or has Ike just been well traveled ?
I noticed a lot of nicks and a ding on Ike's head. The date is rubbed off.
The rim is odd near the Y in Liberty and near the N on the ONE (reverse).
I've just gotten into coins!
Thanks innadvance

@sahm, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes this is a well-loved coin that can safely be spent. I suspect that it will be cycled back for disposal the next time it arrives at a bank.

What I see is a coin that is worth 10 cents, I would say to set it free and continue to do what it was intended for.. buy nice things. it's end is near, once the feds get it back, it will be decommissioned.
