1996 Toonie Machine Doubling? - Coin Community Forum

I have hunted toonies almost daily along with other denominations for the past year and a half an have yet to find a 1996 doubled die example. When looking for doubled dies on two dollar coins the seperation in doubling and the notching present is fairly obvious. You can check this post a CCF member created regarding a DDO / DDR example on a 2012 toonie, I replied with some photos on there as well. http://goccf.com/t/399163&SearchTerms=Toonie When it comes to doubled dies on the two dollar coin the photos you will find on that post is what you will want to keep an eye out for, regardless of the year.
