I just took a picture while looking at the digital microscope that's why it came out like it was shot in front of the screen door. Appreciate the info. & Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/27/2021 12:21 pm This is a plated zinc cent, so the plating is probably split on the bottom right side of the initials. So I'm guessing you are see gray on that area? That would be where the split happened. The other raised area is zinc rot. Report this Post to the Staff
