Just started collecting coins. Any basic American silver dollars I should look for?

Morgans are a great place to start.
They have silver value, as well as numismatic value.
Their larger size makes them visually impressive as well.

And Peace dollars are great and mostly affordable for a shorter series.

Welcome. I am in Michigan. I just moved my son out to south SF for his first job. My impression: great weather, crowded, and an insanely high cost of living, especially housing. For the difference between my son's rent and my mortgage, he could be getting a 1 oz gold eagle every month and still have money left over.
