This would be a very tough case. The verdigris looks to be very deep, this an advanced stage of corrosion. Obviously, someone has already tried (and failed) to remove it. The coin has been harshly cleaned.
I believe VERDI-GONE™ would remove most of the verdigris, but I suspect the carbonate layer will be nearly impossible to remove and leave behind a white residue. Under that layer, copper will have been removed from the surface leaving pits. The problem with this coin is that it corroded before it could fully oxidize (brown) and oil or it corroded after an old cleaning. The is the worst-case type of verdigris.
Bottomline, the coin is not of sufficent value at this point to consider spending time and money on.
