I collect along with many other coins, ASE'S and I can not figure out how I keep getting messages from old ebay sellers saying they now have on sale 2009 ASE's.I do not know how these people get the unc's and proof's before the mint releases them to us common people( no dis-respect intended), how does this happen when some of us can not even find them where you would think they would be @ the mint! any clues because I am at a loss looking at the U S MINT site and waiting for a notification notice from them telling me the coins I want are now available and others have them for so long they are selling them at a sale price?...

The proof's should be available to everyone at a given point in time. I would contact the ebay seller and ask if they actually have them in hand or are "pre-ordering". I'd venture that they don't have them in hand yet.

The unc's are a different matter. It is very possible the mint's "bullion distributors" do have unc's already. They're the big boys who are approved to buy in bulk direct from the mint. These coins would NOT be the "singles" sold by the mint individually packaged to consumers.

Let us know what you find out.

The non-mintmarked bullion coins have started to be distributed through the authorized dealer network but the proofs and W mintmarked have not gone on sale through the website yet. Auctions for those two could only be pre-sales.

Thanks guys I will ask these people and share what I find out, be well Mike...PS:Bio, thanks for that site section, I still feel it all comes down to money, being from the silent majority, I do not count, I will wait like most and order my usual allotment when I am notified from the Mint...
