How nice to find someone buying the keys first. Well done!

Wow, That's quite a collection for being for being as small as it is.
Keep up the good work and please post some pictures.
We'd love to see them.

Nice looking list so far! But as a Buffalo Ni fanatic, I have to ask, where's the 1926-S?

The 1926 S will come someday. It must be a full horn.
Here is another nickel. 1879 Shield nickel. Super low mintage of only 25,900. This, along with the 1880 (business strike) with 16,000 minted are 2 of the hardest coins to find. Look at the mintage of some of the top collector coins. 09 S V.D.B, 16 D Merc, 93 S Morgan..etc. and these 2 are far lower than anything collected, gold coins excluded.
PCGS VG details. Corrosion removed.

As for my next coin. I haven't decided,

Given the planning and discipline you describe and demonstrate, I don't see how you can possibly go wrong on your chosen adventure. I'd be so bold, however, as to suggest you augment your planning. Assuming you have not already done so, I'd have you construct a prioritized list of desired coins and employ that list, not as a "to-do" list, only as a reference to past present and future navigation.

Very nice! You have some highly collectable coins, but that 1879 nickel is probably the rarest of the lot. I myself try to focus more on rarity over popularity and certainly appreciate that one even with the details designation.

I don't think the OP is a "beginning coin collector". Far from it.

Great coin! I am wondering what it is worth? Hope you don't mind the question.
