" Close AM" refers to RDV-007 used on a coin that is meant to have RDV-006. 1968 is way before either of these reverse design varieties existed, so there is no such thing as a Close AM for this date. The normal design variety for this year simply has an A and an M that are close to each other.

As for the doubling, please explain what you see or give an attribution number that you think is a match.
