I was going to give my son a gift of a sheet of 2 dollar bills in a frame, a long time ago. I noticed they say they are always not available. Did the Bureau of Engraving and Printing stop making those permanently? Or is it something they discontinued because of CoVid?

It's a Covid thing, for sure. Buy one on ebay, they're fairly affordable.

wow, I bookmarked the mint sales page because I thought it might be neat to buy a sheet of $1 or something cheap. I never even noticed that they are all unavailable or sold out.

Hopefully you can buy him a sheet next year for his birthday.

I think I'll have to wait. A 32 bill sHeet at the mint is $102. On ebay, they are 2 or 3 times that.

You could get an uncut sheet of 4 Canal Bank obsoletes from the 1850s for about that. A lot more interesting in my opinion.
