I have two Vietnam 10k Dong notes that I am trying to identify. I bought them as P119 but the Standard Catalog has these polymer notes as having (at least) variants P119a - P119k. It appears that they are somehow dated from 2006 to 2018 but I cannot for the life of me see any indication of that on either of the notes that I have. I could certainly be missing something.

Can anyone help? Below is an ebay stock photo of the note.

If that is the same (or similar) serial number than it would be 2019 according to the bank note museum:
http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/c...119.htm#2019

Quote:

2006-2020 (the first two digits of the serial # give the last two digits of the year of issue)

So P-119(l) or P-119(new)

Ah! Thank you, walk2dwater! That makes a lot of sense.
