Yes for sure this dime is damaged. I have no idea what was done to it though.

@Dearborn Okay thank you. It kinda reminds me of this one I found last year except for the mark in the middle and this one is more beat up.

Your dime (and cent) are not error coins, they are post mint damage ( PMD). How did they get damaged? Only the person responsible for doing it knows for sure, but regardless of how damaged, damage is damage and your coins will never be worth more than face value I am sorry to say.
