This 1939 P LWC has a doubled eyelid as well as it is a DDR. This will be a new variety as there are no known 39 P DDO and DDR combos. Report this Post to the Staff

You obviously have the coin in hand and can see it in greater detail than we can looking at pics. I found a 42' Linc. DDO a very long time ago and the doubling was so minuscule on the eye lid that I had to take dozens pictures, at numerous different lighting angles, before I caught just the proper light angle for others to see the doubled eyelid. Don't get me wrong.... your pics are good, but are you sure that is not a shadow under the eyelid or possibly some type of buildup that is making it look like an extra lower eyelid? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/16/2021 2:32 pm It is what I'm not seeing.on a DDO eyelid, the metal would be raised. I'm not seeing that on that area. A dark color doesn't mean it is raised. On DDR-003, it was the closest, but just not an exact match. But it maybe the height if the devices are not the same. But here is the side by side comparison.
