I don't have another one to compare and the pics for large and small bead look basically the same to me unless I could zoom in 20× let me know I'm trying to find all the variety pennies.

@samelli, look at the fourth photo and zoom on the 5, there's a clear point on it. The other picture was trying to capture the beads, I didn't realize the large and small beads refered to the face side of the coin. That angle makes it look blunt but pic 4 is a clearly pointed 5 I think

Large Bead Pointed 5

How to tell the difference?
Large Bead, A in REGINA points to a bead
Small Bead, A points between beads

@jimmyD, so this is the large beads pointed 5 variety? It's the only one that holds a premium possibly, I have a blunt 5 now that I know how to check the beads with the A in Regina it will be easy to tell for me. Thanks alot for the info. Not sure if you were confirming that this is a large beads pointed 5 though?

If it is large beads pointed 5 what would you grade it? It's one of the few from the 60s that still has some luster on it.

Wrekkdd, hope you don't mind.
Turned and cropped, it's hard to turn a 27" monitor.

Cheers, Bill

Also how do I check the sold listings on ebay? I see some large beads pointed 5s for 90-200$ but not sold, and they are grades Ms 64-65 I doubt this would be ever close to that grade.

@handi1, I don't believe mine is a blunt 5, there is definitely an angle on the top of the 5, the blunt examples are completely flat.
