@JohnWayn007, after seeing your examples I decided to try and find a 67 DDD
1979-DDD-979,-Worth-A-2×2?
1979-DDD-979,-Worth-A-2×2?

1979-DDD-979,-Worth-A-2×2?

I also believe there is DDD on Canada as well. Cool example. Now idk if I'll save both for examples. I'm surprised I managed to capture it with how small it is.

@SPPOttawa, I just mean if these are fairly common, if I put every Die Deterioration example I find I'd be saving half the coins I look at lol, so I save the best examples in the best condition I can find. If I found a full date DDD I'd probably throw this one back in the searched pile. I will save all the different varieties I find, like the 67 DDD I just found, but I'll be saving one of each for Die Deterioration album and then a variety album I will start with as many different ones I can find.(this isn't a variety per say) I'll be keeping every coin I post for a while and ones I don't post(untill I find a bank that will allow me to trade penny rolls for different penny rolls.

Wrekkdd, the 1962 that coop shows is Die Deterioration, there is no known doubled die for that year.

Wrekkdd, I can assure you 100% that the 1962 "Double Date" that coins and canada are calling a doubled die is false, as are most of the varieties they have listed.

@johnwayn007 never realized you have 3 penny dates with doubled dies in your signature, when I originally got all these pennies I asked about years to look for DDO / DDR, I'll start searching those years. Also coins and Canada only has 2 years for cents that they actually call doubled dies, they refer to all there other doubles as doubling. I'm aware alot of there info is incorrect, if you have a better site for doubled dies cents by year please let me know. I'll be inspecting every penny I have but I'd like to go through the know Doubled die years first. But I can't find that info anywhere really

Coinman91, no problem at all.

Wrekkdd, if you look on the main listing page here https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coin...nt-1953-1964 you will notice that they fixed it and refer to it as "double 962" and not doubled die.

You will also notice if you click "1962 - Double 962" they dont mention doubled die at all on the listing page, only "Double 962" which was previously "Doubled Die Date".

As for a list of all known genuine doubled dies, there isent one, other than the one in my book (literally the whole purpose of me writing it) you wont find a complete list that only shows genuine hub doubled varieties.

The Charlton 70th edition catalogue has a small cent variety section (written by SPP-Ottawa) in the back with a couple doubled die examples being mentioned, I'm sure if he had more space/time to fill it in at that point he would have but I dont think he was given a lot of space or time to do so, not entirely sure on that.

I'll definitely have to get your book when your finished, I guess for now I'll look through the years I know have doubled dies. I have put aside a couple of varieties worth a tiny premium and might put them up on ebay to pay for a microscope/camera.
