It is a bronze Duit of the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie.
Intended for circulation in Indonesia, and mostly circulated there, although a few found their way into circulation in nearby countries as unofficial coinage in times of a scarcity of local coinage, such as Australia, up until about 1820.

As such, they have a minor place in early Australian coinage history, although they are relatively easy to find in modern coin shops that deal in World coins.

Value? about $5 or so.

Interesting.
Bronze? But looks more like Tin at least to me.

Not a coin.
Color suggests that it could be made out of lead, and would have been a bale seal from Portuguese India, or similar.
I stand to be corrected.

The first one shown is a fantasy piece made for sale to tourists. The auction lot referenced to states "withdrawn", also an indication it is not a genuine piece. The piece is modelled after a locally made coin in Iaffna (Ceylon), one side. The other side shows the arms of West-Friesland (Netherlands) as occur on copper doits
