I'll say VF-30.

Strike weakness noticeable on the braid on the obverse and flatness on the buffalos head and front leg. VF20 for me. Good price.
Rest in Peace

Looks VF-25 to me. It does appear to be a weak strike.

It's definitely in VF-land. The buffalo's head and tail and the "F" and "S" of FIVE CENTS are merging with the rim. The horn is in the 2/3 range and the eye and beard have some detail. there is quite a bit of die polishing here, so some of the lost detail on the reverse, in particular, is die polishing. (The head, for example, has been worked over, but the second feather clash is still visible.)

IMHO, the strike is actually not too bad for a 1918-S. There is a full rachis and calamus on the second feather, and the ribbons are complete.

I'd like to see the in-hand photos. The appearance from these pics is on the VF-20/VF-25 fence. I think it makes VF-25. The bigger concern is the obverse surfaces. Some pitting and surface corrosion is to be expected in mid-grades. I'm just not able to get a good feel for the surface conditions from the seller's obverse pic. n If the obverse is OK, you did very well with this purchase, and may be near a double for your efforts.
