are they still out there in the wild, I have been getting a roll or two of quarters a week for over a year and lately I have been getting full rolls of 2021. I have only found 2 so far.

Very tough to find in the wild. I search $300 to $400 a month from coin ops so very random. I have found exactly 1 since I started looking vs. 3 silver. I think the fix was in when these were produced...

They are out there but very scares and once in a whilt you might get one in circulation. A few weeks back I searched through 70 rolls and the results were: 4 W mints.

Quote: They are out there but very scares... It's always a bit amusing how all of us put our own definitions to our personal experiences. In the last year and a half I've searched through 220 rolls of quarters and have found TWO W's. I guess I can call that scarce, but Chase007's result of finding FOUR W's out of 70 rolls I would view as a 'boatload' of success.

I dunno,. been a while since I was able to search heavily, but I'd say I'd find one somewhat circulated W out of searching $100 in customer wrapped. I lucked into a BU roll of Marsh Billing 2020 that had 5 Ws in it on July 20th 2021, so about a month ago. I haven't searched anything since then though. Really hard for me to get coins in my area. Pre-pandemic I could get boxes to search weekly, not anymore though. My opinion, they are still out there, and BU rolls still too. but honestly, you have to really keep at it and get rolled coins to look though. the more you search, the more you'll find, but when it comes to the 2021s, those rolls are dead ends again, you are better off searching circulated for Ws instead. I'd say I'm somewhere around 60 W finds. most of it from 2019 and early 2020 before all heck broke loose. I am sitting on a roll of 40 American Memorial Park Ws though that came from 2 BU boxes in 2019 during my weekly searches. some eye candy from past threads, my pictures are terrible. 5/09/2019, 5/29/2019 3rd picture is the box from the 5/29/2019 hunt. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...80746886.jpghttps://www.coincommunity.com/forum...0-ccfopt.jpghttps://www.coincommunity.com/forum...8-ccfopt.jpg https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...2-ccfopt.jpgand marsh billings roll from 7/20/2021. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum..._2104535.jpghttps://www.coincommunity.com/forum..._2104565.jpgnot all pictures are horrible though... https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...5-ccfopt.jpghttps://www.coincommunity.com/forum...4-ccfopt.jpg

yeah, in all seriousness, I've just found like 5 here or there, the vast majority of my finds were "gold strike" situations where I got those two BU boxes, and that one roll of BU Marsh billings, I also got a BU roll of AMP with Lowell Ws randomly from the casino change cage, that had 3 in it.
I traded people some of my extras for the others to complete my 2019W and 2020W sets. I just need a nice holder for each set, and I'd like to upgrade my War in the pacific which is the worst of the 10 that I have. oh well. it's why I keep looking. LOL

Thanks for the idea Dearborn. I was thinking more along the lines of a proof quarter set lens or something like that or like a Capitol 5 quarter holder. But that idea is nice! A presentation box...

I got a 2019 W American Memorial Park in change a couple of weeks ago. I believe that was the only one I received after purchasing an item. I have about 20 now, all of the 2019's and three of the five 2020's. In 2019, I found one in someone's desk drawer, and one I spotted in a tip jar. I took the quarter and replaced it with a dollar. I found all of mine except the 2020 W Tallgrass I received in a trade. They are definitely harder to find in the wild. I bought a box of quarters and found nothing about six months ago.
