That is a counterfeit Chinese cash coin.
Probably made for tourists.

Yes that is a reproduction coin--likely for adornment or feng shui purposes. The dimples are there to simulate a cast surface. Here is a link to a similar one that was posted to CCF about a week ago:

Yep, it's another machine-struck replica, with the dimpling intended to simulate a sandy cast background.

You can buy them for a few cents each. Which is a shame, as you can buy genuine coins in bulk for only a few cents extra.
