1880-S Grade Guess. Upgrading The Set

farrider11 Pillar of the Community United States 614 Posts	Posted 08/26/2021 5:19 pm This is an upgrade, coin in hand. has me a little stumped.I shot it in different lighting and angles and still the oval shape around the ear appears. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18681 Posts	Posted 08/27/2021 10:46 am the lighting is washing out the surfaces. typical strong strike for the year. luster cannot be assessed but looks intact across the surfaces. there appears to some light marks on both sides. the scratches look like they are on the holder. taking that into consideration.
