Looked like a decent coin to me. Maybe make F-15 ish. Hard to spend over $900 on an ungraded much counterfeited example. I do think its real though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124865777571

It looks genuine, but the difference in coloring between the two sides would trouble me. You were right to pass in my opinion.

Looking closely at the seller's photos, one can tell the reverse photo's lighting was a bit different. Check the relative 'warmth' of the background in each shot. White balance varies.

Sombody must have thought it was worth US $931.99, said it before and Ill say it again, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Looks good to me.....better of the 2 die pairings with stronger "AMERICA" on the obverse.
