Question About The V75 Mark On 2020 W US Quarters

TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10284 Posts	Posted 08/27/2021 09:48 am I was at the coin club meeting last night and a member had one of these W mintmark quarters. As I was holding it, I turned to my wife and pointed out the V75 mark on the left side of the obverse. I told her to keep a lookout for that V75 mark because it is an easy way to spot a W mintmark quarter. (I don't have any yet but do have a jar full of quarters saved up) Anyway, the owner, overhearing me, promptly corrected me and said all the 2020 circulating quarters P D & W have V75 stamped on them. I did not argue, just said "I didn't know that!" but I think I was right. So I thought I'd post this for simple clarification on the mark. Thanks! There are 5 different 2020 W quarters that have the V75 privy. The 5 different 2019 W quarters do not have the privy. So if you only look for the privy, you may miss the 2019 W quarters.
