I am trying to determine if an 1892 Korean coin I have is counterfeit. It should weigh 26.95 grams. It weighs 26.84 grams. It should be 2.5mm thick. It is 2.7mm thick. Diameter is spot on.
Are these differences significant?

The fact that it is thicker but lighter would be a concern.
If it was the same material, it should be slightly heavier.
Can you post pictures of both sides?

Measuring thickness can be tricky with the calipers.

The weight difference (0.4%) is insignificant for sure.

Post photos, and any thought you have when comparing it to an authenticated example.

Sounds like its a 5 yang coin. This is a heavily counterfeited coin.

Please post photos of both sides as well as the edge.
