not sure if reverse edge is caused by die strike problem? seems unlikely to me this could be wear since its sat packed in a box untouched since 1972 when it was purchased from the mint.

Looks normal from what I can see from the images. The neck on the bust looks like it has Machine Doubling on that area. So I'm wondering if your seeing Machine Doubling. (which is not a doubled die. A doubled die comes from coins struck with a doubled die)

Well coop the edge is rounded over on the reverse about half the coin and even the tops or bottoms letters are disappear off the edge. And I do see what you mean but I think it might be the mint cello wrapper causing the shadow I'll look again closer

Not strong enough to be considered design creep:

Your coin seems normal from what I can see on your images.

The cause of design creep is that the die was not tempered correctly. So the die starts to spread so much that devices fall over the edges of the coins. There was a issue on the 1973 cents where there was an internal issue that affected the memorial dies. But this was noticed on several devices.

But on your coin, it looks normal. Note the rim is present. On the one I posted there is no rim at all. So it is just an aging die issue.
