I do not collect Classic Commemoratives but I may start to a small degree with coins I find attractive or low Mintage. I know they made this one a few different years and mint marks but this one looked nice to me and they minted 5506 of this one and for a nice MS-65 it was A pretty reasonable last second bid so I bit.
I really like the reverse.

Nice pickup! Just a warning - the classic commemoratives can be a bit addictive! Before 2012 I didn't collect commemoratives, but then I started picking up a few that I thought had very nice designs. After I ended up with 20 or so, I decided I'd work on the 50-coin type set. Once I eventually finished that, I started picking up examples from each mint for those which had multiple issues, and before I knew it I was assembling a full 144-coin set .

Nice coin with a good strike - lots of detail! Terrific acquisition.

If you're interested in some background on the coin, look for "1936 Arkansas" at Read More: Commems Collection. (@nickelsearcher: Thanks for the mention!)
