i can not post a picture. ok I can make out a little more. on the other side of the coin Ottawa Canada house of commons. does this help any. I will get a picture as soon as I can. I have a bag of coins from my friend at the junkyard. this is one of them. I can not believe some of these coin the condition they are in mint. American pennies Canadian pennies. and every other denominations. plus a lot of world coins. I know nothing about. alot are pure silver. he finds these all through the cars.

Sounds like a Shell gas station Arthur Meighen prime minister medal. c 1970. Zinc medal with a gold coloured plating.

Rocky: Unless specially struck at .999 composition, there are no coins that are pure silver. You will able to find .925, .900, .800, .600 and .500, depending upon what country you are talking about. Some Mexican "silver" gets down to .200 or less for some pesos. The coins should keep you busy.
