A couple of weeks ago I spend a silver dime (from a 1999 proof set) in a sandwich shop. Keep an eye out for it.

The one that I should have found is a Seated dime or half. Six Barber dimes and one Barber half in six years.
I found around a dozen solid and semi-solid hand-rolled filled with silver halves, my best dime roll held 27 silvers.
I also found 150+ silver Canadian coins.

The glory days for me were around 2008/09. Silver prices rising and there weren't yet many hunters.
My wife's aunt was also in banking for years, some of the other managers were ordering boxes of halves at that time; there were so many silvers that they were sending the 40% halves back, keeping only the 90%.

When I had my paper route back in NJ, I used to get all kinds of silver coins from my customers. Of course, back then silver was still circulating much more than it is now

I've never found silver quarters.found two silver dimes in the same box from two different identical CWRs earlier this year for the first time.

The tellers at my bank look for older enders for me when I come in. It is really nice of them to do that for me.

I have looked through thousands and thousands and thousands of half dollars over the years and have found many interesting halves - proofs, a Washington commemorative, almost all of the modern NIFC, silver bicentennial stuff, Benjamins, walkers, a Barber head, and a 1970-S. But I have never come across a 1970-D. Has anyone ever found a 1970-D in circulation?

I found a 1970 D at a Walmart a few years ago, at whatever small bank desk they had there at the time. I've also found the S, from a bank roll. I've nabbed at least 33 silvers at Walmart including a Franklin half. My best score was 30 silvers in the reject cup of the Coinstar.
