I remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard the horrible news.

Although we should remember those who lost their lives, I am not keen on commemorating a terrorist event under any circumstances.

It is my hope that net profits from this issue will go those who suffered most, and is not just a profit opportunity.

These medals were produced by the US Mint in 2011, and proceeds were to support the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York.

I think all of us will remember that terrible day vividly.

It is so hard to believe it has already been 20 years since that day. The intense memories still feel recent and probably always will

The medal did not commemorate terrorism - it was issued to honor "the courage, sacrifice and strength of those individuals who perished." Why try to spin it negatively?

I wish the medal bug had bitten me sooner. When this one came out they were not really on my radar.
