Hello!

I have these 1943 steel wheaties and several have this same issue. What is it? and can anything be done for them?

Im really disappointed because these are in mint shape except for this!!!

Those are reprocessed coins ( replated after minting ) . Probably kept in a bad environment .

Nothing can be done.
The reprocessing alone takes away any value they may have had.

They look shiny, but for value they have been reduced to 3 or 4 cents. The spots on them are where they weren't cleaned very good before thy were replated.
