BJ Neff Pillar of the Community United States 526 Posts	Posted 01/14/2009 10:00 pm Yes, it does look like notches and yes there does seem to be some extra thickness in the tail of the 9 digit in the date. Both are indicators of a doubled die, however, an in hand examination would probably be called for to ascertain if it is a doubled die. BJ Neff Report this Post to the Staff

They all almost all look like that on LIBERTY. You are simply noticing that for the first time. Die polishing is what effected the numerals.
