So I noticed something strange about this coin on the word Francaise if you look at the C there's a little hook and on the reverse in the middleyou can see an A under the letter P on Piastre and a numer 1 in the middle starting at the initial A to the word De
The accent under the 'C' is an accent mark, known as cedilla. It looks like a tiny '5' without the crossbar, and attaches under a 'C' to change the way the 'C' is pronounced. Thus: not 'Fronkay', but 'Fronsay'
