It is a nice looking coin and I would not let the Machine Doubling effect your judgment of its appearance.

These are beautiful pictures of Machine Doubling and everyone should file these away somewhere for reference.

The step like appearance and the lack of separation, grooves or notches make these pictures invaluable to a person trying to learn what this form of Machine Doubling looks like versus the doubling seen on coins struck by doubled dies.

Killians76 did a great job with these pictures. I really like the way you can clearly see the "steps" on Lincoln's nose!
