I have not found many S mint mark coins and this one I in great shape for the year and the fact that it was in a Canadian circulation roll. A bonus on top I think it is the first double or maybe Triple MD coin I have found, which I know does not raise the Value but a pretty fun find. No doubling anywhere else that I can see. Just the date and mint mark

There is more mint luster then you can see in the photos I'm in a shady spot at the moment:p nice find, I'm loving all the American cents I have been getting some are definitely from American customers because some rolls are 90-95% americain and I have found. I know the first batch I got was just sitting in the banks storage for years, and they added to it. I think they don't really send the cents back to the mint to melt until they have at least a box full.
Rest in Peace

@T-BOP, thanks:) if I ever get an album for American cents the S slots will be the hardest to fill. I think I have found 3 maybe lol. If I lived in the states I would be going through 3 boxes a day of cents at least, here the only cents I can pick up are from a connection at the bank so that's lucky. But I have only mayb gotten 60-70 rolls total since I have started searching them.

Nice find!

Well, one down, six to go for the S mint Lincoln Memorial cent circulation strikes. You just need 1968 to 1970 and 1972 to 1974. Mintages aren't all that low, ranging from 258 to 690 million, but the S coins do tend to be hoarded.

Many of my most recent rolls(the last I got from my friend at the bank) had many very nice condition coins compared to previous rolls. Many 19-69-80 American cents in much better condition compared to my previous roll hunts, as well as many BU+ Canadian cents from 1970 onwards
